Geckos are small to medium-sized lizards. They are found all over the world in warm climates. There are over 1,100 different species of geckos. Several species, such as the House Gecko, will enter houses and climb over the walls and ceilings eating insects. Many people also keep geckos as pets in aquariums. The most common pet gecko is the Leopard Gecko.Geckos range in size from 3/4 to 14 inches long.The life span of a gecko can be as long as 30 years.Most geckos are nocturnal.
The largest gecko is the Tokay Gecko and the smallest is the Dwarf Gecko.Geckos come in a wide variety of colors, patterns and textures. Some geckos can change color like chameleons.Geckos are different from other lizards, because they use vocal chirps to communicate with each other.
Although some geckos have claws, most have thousands of hair-like structures on their feet which allows them to stick to and climb slippery and flat surfaces. Most species of gecko have a clear membrgua to protect the eyes instead of eyelids. They also lick this membrgua to keep it clean.If a gecko accidentally loses its tail it has the ability to grow a new one.

A landslide or landslip are a natural disaster, something which is unfortunately unavoidable. Landslides can vary in size but usually they always involve a large ground movement. This can be things such as debris and rock failing. A landslide can occur on shore or off shore and usually at coastal lines but it is the gravity that forces the debris and rocks to fall and for a total landslide to occur.If an area has some pre conditional factors, it could help to build up a lot of problems, sub surface problems and conditions from arising. The conditions could make the slope to continuously product landslides.
The Causes of a landslide : Erosion – if this occurs, even just slightly, can make some of the slope to fall in to oceans or rivers. Glaciers can also have a landslide – there is not much of a different from a cliff top. Instead, the ice melts or is subject to heavy rain and causes a slight shift from a glacier. Earthquakes – this brings about a sharp change in the slope and makes it unstable. Groundwater can destabilize the slope putting pressure on it greatly.
Volcanoes erupting – this can cause the slope to become unstable. Soil structure can change.However, these are all natural causes for a landslide to occur but human activities can contribute to cause a landslide. Heavy machine vibrations in the ground Deforestation can make fragile slopes unstable.

Dolphins are very intelligent animals and they are benign to humans. This water mammals are able to fascinate us in many different ways. These mammals live in a group. They have been known to help humans in a variety of circumstances including rescue and fishing.
There are 36 species of dolphins that have been found. 32 species are dolphins the sea is already well known by the people and 4 species are river dolphins. It’s very interesting to see and learn about the dolphin species
Dolphins can be very entertaining. They can jump out of the water. Some of them can jump up to 30 feet in the air. The dolphins are grayish blue and his skin is very sensitive to human touch and other objects.
Although the dolphins have 100 teeth, they don’t use their teeth to eat. They use it to get fish then they swallow the fish. They can consume fish up to 15 kg per day. They always gather in a group to hunt fish

Earthquake
Earthquake
Earthquake is a sudden shaking of the earth’s surface that often causes a lot of damage. It is the result of a sudden release of stored energy in the Earth’s crust that creates seismic waves. Earthquakes may happen naturally or as a result of human activities. Smaller earthquakes can also be caused by volcanic activity, landslides, mine blasts, and nuclear experiments.
At the Earth’s surface, earthquakes can be seen from the shaking or displacement of the ground. Sometimes, they cause tsunamis, which may lead to loss of life and damage of property. There are two types of earthquake that occurs naturally, they are tectonic and volcanic earthquakes. Tectonic earthquakes are earthquakes that are caused by tectonic plates getting stuck and putting a strain on the ground. The strain becomes so great that rocks give way by breaking and sliding along fault plguas.
Volcanic earthquakes are earthquakes which are caused by themovement of magma in volcanoes. In volcanic regions earthquakes may be caused both by tectonic faults and by the movement of magma in volcanoes. Such earthquakes can be an early warning of volcanic eruptions
The size of an earthquake is usually reported using the Richter scale or a related Moment scale. Earthquakes which are 3 on the Richter scale or lower are hard to notice. Whereas, those which are 7 on the Richter scale causes serious damage over large areas.
