Dalam Ujian Bahasa Inggris, penerima asuh bisa mengidentifikasi keterkaitan makna antar bagian-bagian dalam teks. Berikut bentuk perintah soal tentang jenis pertanyaan struktur sebuah teks menyangkut hal-hal sebagai diberikut: 

1. Karakter (narrative, descriptive, recount). misal pertanyaan:

• Based on the text, the writer's brother is .....
• Based on the text, we know that the old women is a .....

2. Latar belakang insiden (narrative, recount). misal pertanyaan:

• Snow White escaped from the castle because ....
• The writer was frightened because ....

3. Menentukan hal-hal yang terjadi/tidak terjadi menurut isi teks (recount, narrative). misal pertanyaan:

• What would likely have happened to Cinderella if she had not run hom at midnight?
• What would the writer find at home if he ....? 

4. Pentingnya mengkuti langkah dalam teks prosedur. misal pertanyaan:

• Why if it recommended to ....?
• What should we do after .... 

5. Dampak apabila langkah-langkah tidak diikuti dengan baik (procedure). misal pertanyaan:

• If we do not ... it will likely ....

6. Isi pesan (pesan singkat). misal pertanyaan:

• What did Anisa ask for an apology?

7. Tindakan yang mungkin diambl sehabis membaca teks. misal pertanyaan:

• After reading the message, Dinda will likely ....
• What should Dinda do after reading the message?
• What will the readers likely do after reading the text?

8. Ide pokok sebuah paragraf. misal pertanyaan:

• The main idea of the third paragraph is ....
• What does the second paragraph tell us about

9. Bagian yang dideskripsikan. misal pertanyaan:

• What can the visitors see in the park?

10. Unsur penting yang menjadi serius (iklan). misal pertanyaan:

• What product is advertised in the text? 
• What is so special about the hotel?
